Hey There,
Have you made the decision that this is the year that you’re going to skip the Overseas hussle & bussle & get a taste for the Aussie Outback?
Well, where do I start
There is soooo much to see in this Awesome country of ours it is difficult to find a place to start. I have been around Oz a couple of times & I can’t help but say that The Kimberley Region is the best for all round diversity. You just can’t beat the natural beauty of this gifted area from the water filled gorges to the dryness & unique formations of the Bungle Bungles. The Rock Art is some of the oldest in the world with the mystical Bradshaw Paintings & the thought provoking Cupels.
Now, about the planning, I have said this before but for the hassle of trying to organize a reliable offraod car, equipment, camping gear, permits, accommodation etc etc I would seriously recommend you do some research on the abundance of Guided Tours available. They range from budget tours where you’re with a large group & camping under the stars traveling in a rickity old ‘bus’ through to luxury tours with latest model vehicles, small intimate groups & quality meals..
One thing a can say is that doing it by yourself is a lot of fun but you miss out on so much because of the location of some of the attractions are realy hard to find. Anyway, whichever way you go, I will say that you will not be disappointed with the Kimberleys. It is an Awesome place to visit.
Good luck & happy Holidays
Cheers for now
Jason

Hi Folks,
Well, it’s time to start preparing for your next winter adventure & the Kimberley region is a “Hot Spot’ on the Australian getaway destinations.
Jodie & I had previously driven the Gibb River Road twice by ourselves & I can assure you that we missed out on seeing so many things along the way. You just don’t realize what is out there unless you are shown by someone who knows the area.
So, If you’re thinking that you want to visit this beautiful part of Australia then I will not hesitate in suggesting you do it via a professional tour company that knows all the ‘out of the way’ spots, besides, you don’t really want to have to organise doing the trip by yourself especially when there is so much preparation involved in traveling through remote outback areas like a reliable four wheel drive, food supplies, fuel, permits, camping gear & the list goes on.
Let someone else worry about all that so you can kick back & take in all that the Kimberley Region has to offer
If you want some more info please click on the green link above or pop over to the ‘contact me’ page on this site.
Cheers for now
